First Shift
An Exciting Introduction to Hockey for Girls in a Fun and Supportive Environment
The First Shift program is designed to introduce girls ages 6-10 to the game of hockey in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. No prior hockey experience is necessary, and all equipment is provided, making it easy for families to get started. The Richmond Ravens are proud to run a First Shift session, giving young girls in our community the chance to learn the game, develop new skills, and build confidence on the ice. This program is a fantastic way for girls to experience hockey for the first time, with a focus on fun and participation!
Try Hockey With the Richmond Ravens and Vancouver Canucks
This amazing program is a great way for girls (aged 6-10) to try our great sport for the first time.
Learn the basic skills of hockey with girls and female mentors.
- This program runs from October to December. Registration is now open.
- Six on-ice sessions
- Players are outfitted head-to-toe in brand-new hockey equipment, which is their to keep
