Rep Tryouts
About the Rep Program
The Richmond Ravens offer competitive, high-level Rep programs in the U11, U13, U15, and U18 divisions. Participating in the Rep program requires additional fees and time commitments beyond those of our standard hockey program.

To join the Rep program, players must attend a tryout at the beginning of the season and be selected for one of the Rep teams. Returning players in the U13-U18 divisions should register for tryouts simultaneously with their Returning Player registration.
Tryout Process
Tryout Schedule:
- When: First week of September
- Deadline for Tryout Fees: August 31 (current season)
Important: Tryout fees must be submitted by August 31. Late submissions will disqualify the player from trying out. Please note that tryout fees are non-refundable.
Appeals Process
Players who wish to appeal their tryout results must follow these steps within 24 hours of receiving their team assignment notification:
- Submit an Appeal Letter:
- Explain the reason for the appeal.
- Pay the Appeal Fee:
- Amount: $150
- Method: E-transfer to payments@richmondravenshockey.ca
- Note: Include "Tryouts Appeal - [Player Name]" in the notes/comment section.

Important: Appeal fees are non-refundable.
For Female Players Not Registered with the Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Association:
- Submit a preliminary tryout notice (obtainable from the player's home association).
- Register as directed on TeamSnap.
Registration for Ravens Players:
- Register and pay the tryout fees during the initial registration process.

- Tryout Fees Deadline: Fees must be paid before the first ice time.
- Participation: Players cannot participate in any team practices or games until all fees are paid.

All Ravens registration fees are paid through TeamSnap's online registration payment site using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or Visa Debit/Mastercard Debit.
E-transfer accepted for the payment of Tryout and Registration Fees. Please e-transfer to payments@richmondravenshockey.ca and make a note in the comments to include player name, division, and what the fees are for.
If paying by cash, please contact registrar.
Players Trying out from Outside of Richmond
Attention: U13 and Above Players
Any Female U13, U15, or U18 player wishing to try out for Rep must register with their Home Female Association/Program by no later than July 31st, 2024.
This is in effect for all new and returning players to the Ravens.
A player movement request submitted by a player who fails to register with their residential Female Association/program by July 31st shall not be considered.
The following exemptions to the registration requirement shall apply:
- If the player is making a residential move from a non-PCAHA Association after August 1st, 2024
- If the player that has been released from an above-minor program/team after August 15th, 2024
- If the player’s residential Female Association/program has declared, prior to July 31st, 2024, that they shall not be offering an HC-Carded (“A”) team in the player’s division
Player movement from an Integrated Association to a Female Association within the same residential boundary is not affected by this rule change.
