Funding Opportunities for Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Players
There are numerous scholarship opportunities available to hockey players across British Columbia, offering financial support to help further both your academic and athletic pursuits. Each of the associations listed below has its own specific set of application requirements, selection criteria, and submission deadlines, so it's important to carefully review the details for each. Whether you're continuing your hockey journey or focusing on your education, these scholarships provide valuable resources to help you succeed. Ravens Scholarship
There are a minimum of 4 Ravens scholarships available from our association. More may be awarded in years with larger graduating classes. Ravens scholarships are granted based on the following criteria:
- Graduating from Grade 12 at the time of application
- Is playing for Richmond Ravens at the time of application
- Has done / achieved:
- Volunteer work for Richmond Ravens
- Community / School Service
- Good academic standing
- Application Deadline: May 13, 2024
How to Apply:
- Complete this form (click here or click the button below) before the application deadline.
- E-mail the following supporting documentation to president@richmondravenshockey.ca before the application deadline.
- Personal letter
- Letter of recommendation from your school Principal, Counsellor, or one of your teachers
- Copy of your transcript of high school grades
The Patti Martin Outstanding Community Leadership Award
- Scholarship Award: $2,000. Scholarship is open to U13, U15, and U18 players.
- Application Deadline: May 13, 2024
- See the attached document for details on this scholarship.
- Please specify your specific volunteer involvement with the community, over and above involvement with the Ravens, and specific focus on leadership within your community.
- Submit your documents via email to president@richmondravenshockey.ca before the deadline.
PCAHA Scholarships
- The 2025 PCAHA scholarship games dates TBD and the PCAHA scholarship deadline is March 31, 2025.
- Open to U18 (Midget) or U21 (Juvenile) players in Grade 11, Grade 12, or completed high school.
- Submission deadline: March 31, 2025
BC Hockey Scholarships
- There are multiple BC Hockey scholarships available, ranging from $500-$2000. Scholarship applications will open at the end of March 2025.
- Open to Grade 12 students.
- Submission deadline: April 30, 2025.
