A heartfelt WELCOME to all teams participating in the Richmond Ice Classic Tournament, hosted by the Richmond Ravens!
I would first off like to thank all of the players, coaches, families, and association volunteers, without all of you this would not be possible. I hope you take advantage of what the City of Richmond has to offer and that you make the most of your time in our beautiful city. Here’s to a successful experience for all participants.
Also, a big thank you to all those who helped to put this event together. Without the efforts of our tournament director, our many many volunteers, and the contribution of our sponsors, we would not be able to enjoy what is sure to be a memory-filled tournament experience.
Good luck to every player. You are why we are here! You fill us with pride, anticipation, and excitement and we are all looking forward to watching some great hockey this weekend.

Welcome to the Legendary Richmond Ice Classic
The Richmond Ice Classic, inaugurated in 1996, is the largest female recreational hockey tournament in North America.
This destination tournament is a unique opportunity to play against other recreational female hockey teams. On March 28-30th, over 1800 female athletes will attend the Richmond Ice Classic from over 100 recreational hockey teams.
More than half of the teams will travel to Richmond from places throughout Canada and the USA. Many of them have come for years or even decades. Teams and players love finishing their seasons at the Richmond Ice Classic.
For the third year in a row, the Richmond Ravens Female Hockey Association will host its largest Ice Classic ever, smashing all of our previous records. This year we received over 150 applications! Thank you for making us the biggest tournament of its type anywhere!
